Hi, I’m Matt.

Managing Director of Rising Tide Financial, diehard Carlton supporter, and a big believer that money is a tool, not the goal.

How I got here

I joined Rising Tide in 2007, straight out of Deakin University, and I’ve been here ever since. I learned the job working with clients, then took on more of the business as it grew. Today I lead it as Managing Director.

What I believe about money

Most people don’t need more financial products. They need a plan they understand and someone to keep them on track.

That’s how Rising Tide works. Start with what you want your life to look like, build the plan around it, then stay accountable to it. Done well, planning gives you a better relationship with money and the freedom to say yes.

What I do now

I lead the business and the advice team. My job is making sure Sam, Rebecca and the team have what they need to do their best work, and building a firm that can help more families.

Outside work

I spend most of my spare time with my two little people, Rosie and Max. The rest goes on Carlton, for better or worse.
